Unpacking Boxes Program

March 21st is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, and Unpacking Boxes was a local artist run event with the goal of supporting the United Nations' commitment to reduce instances of racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia. A variety of local artists shared their works to unpack the boxes created by society in the form of race & culture at this event.

The program guide for the event was designed using a Open Gate Fold, to resemble the process of unpacking a box when the guide is opened. The design includes a panda as a symbol of a peaceful creature that is both Black, White and Asian.
